On a fundraising trip to Los Angeles in October of 2011, President Obama visited the famed Roscoe's House of Chicken n' Waffles, a locally beloved chicken chain restaurant that's been featured in a number of films. He ordered the #9, "Country Boy"--3 chicken wings with a choice of waffle, potato salad or French fries ($8.90, according to the menu). It's now been re-named Obama's Special, TMZ.com reports, just in time for the President's glam multi-million dollar fundraiser at George Clooney's house. Roscoe's owners had previously said they would not name a special for Mr. Obama, because they didn't honor the two California presidents who've visited--Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon--with specials. "Barack Obama has just become the first sitting President in American history to have a menu item named after him at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles--talk about a historic week!!" TMZ wrote.

Clooney offered more than waffles at his dinner, which was catered by celeb chef Wolfgang Puck. The menu included artichoke salad followed by roasted duckling "Peking style" with tiny buns, a duo of lamb and beef cheek with potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and sweet corn tortelloni.
