Thailand, Burma, Cambodia...
President Obama departs for Asia on Saturday, making his fifth trip to the region since taking office. He will be accompanied by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and aides as he visits Bangkok, Thailand, Rangoon, Burma, and Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He is the first stitting US President to visit Burma and Cambodia. The trip will be Clinton's last foreign trip with the President, according to the White House. The region is 12 hours ahead of US Eastern Standard time.
On Sunday, President Obama will visit Wat Pho Royal Monastery in Bangkok, Thailand, followed by a Royal Audience with King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Afetr, President Obama will take part in a formal welcome ceremony at Thai Koo Fah Building. Then President Obama and Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra of Thailand will hold a joint press conference, and in the evening will attend an official dinner together. This press conference will be open press.
On Monday, President Obama will travel to Burma where he will meet with President Thein Sein and Parliament member Aung San Suu Kyi and deliver a speech to encourage Burma’s ongoing democratic transition. In the evening, the President will travel to Cambodia, where he will attend the East Asia Summit and meet with the leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
On Tuesday, President Obama will attend the East Asia Summit in Cambodia.

On Tuesday, the President will remain in Cambodia for the East Asia Summit. In the evening, the President will depart Cambodia en route Washington, DC. He will arrive early on Wednesday morning.
